Labor and Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding Assitance, and Infant Massage in Charleston, SC - Mother's Helper
Doula Mothers

Doula Care Mothers Collage

Mother's Helper was established in 1988 by Lin Cook to help new mothers with the myriad of questions commonly asked about caring for a new baby. Mother's Helper first offered postpartum doula in-home care for new mothers and then later added Bradley Childbirth and Infant Massage classes. Lin also performs labor doula services and breastfeeding help and counseling. The focus of Mother's Helper is to assist and educate pregnant women and new mothers in a variety of formats.
Breastfeeding is the gold standard of infant feeding due to multiple health benefits to mother and baby. South Carolina has encouraged breastfeeding and acknowledged it as a public right. The South Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition and the South Carolina Breastfeeding Action Committee are partnering to introduce legislation to support breastfeeding in the workplace in the next legislative session. We need your help. Tell SC to Support Mothers in the Workplace by signing our petition at www.thepetitionsite.com/1/tell-sc-to-support-mothers-in-the-workplace
The Coalition and the Action Committee are always looking for new members. If you would like to join or would like more information, please visit their websites. Thank you again for making a difference in the lives of South Carolinians!
