Since 1988, Lin Cook has been compassionately supporting families through pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum care as South Carolina’s first doula.

     With over 30 years of experience and thousands of mothers served, Lin brings a calming presence, evidence-based education, and deeply personalized support to every family she works with.

     Mother’s Helper began by providing in-home postpartum doula care for new mothers and has since grown to offer a full range of services including Bradley Method® childbirth classes, labor doula support, lactation consultations, infant massage education, and postpartum guidance.

     Lin’s passion has always been helping women feel informed, empowered, and confident as they prepare for birth and transition into motherhood. Whether supporting families during labor, teaching practical childbirth techniques, assisting with breastfeeding, or providing encouragement during the postpartum season, Mother’s Helper is dedicated to walking alongside parents every step of the way with experienced, compassionate care.
